Why
accessibility?

Being accessible means being able to enjoy an environment regardless of your individual conditions.

Empowering spaces in accessibility means allowing connection with people, giving everyone freedom to perceive space in their own way.

Accessibility is in physical space, in digital, in communication and in movement.

And this interactive experience between human beings and an inclusive environment raises their sense of belonging and promotes well-being and harmony of living.

It is possible to connect more with people when we have an accessible environment, connecting everyone with each other and around them.

Accessibility for whom?

Accessibility is for everyone, with attention to those who have some kind of disability.

It goes beyond what the law requires, it reaches everyone. And everyone reaches beyond restrictions.

All people can and deserve to share a comfortable environment that allows them autonomy and independence to explore.

People with disabilities often end up disconnected, living in isolation, facing discrimination and difficulties in the labor market.

In the world, there are more than 1 billion individuals with some type of disability and, in Brazil alone, more than 24% of the population are part of the group of PwD(People with disabilities) according to the 2010 IBGE sense and these data should be even more expressive 10 years later.

This has severe effects on access to transport, cultural and professional life. These challenges often go unnoticed as a result of an underestimation of the number of people living with disabilities and affected by prejudice and the inconsistency of public and private projects that, for the most part, do not have minimal conditions of architectural accessibility.

2018 UN REPORT

Accessibility was mentioned in 4 of the 17 UN objectives for 2030, since it works with the well-being of people, acts physically and visually in infrastructure, provides less unequal environments and spaces and brings innovation to our communities and cities.

INVESTING IN ACCESSIBILITY IS INVESTING IN YOUR PRESENCE IN THE FUTURE.
